You, Me and Serendipity

Welcome to our beach home, now known as "You, Me & Serendipity"! We hope you have a wonderful vacation on Oak Island. Steve and I are so glad to have the opportunity to share this special place with you, as it holds many of our fondest memories and is our own little slice of paradise on the North Carolina coast.

We believe that dreaming is important, but making dreams come true is what life is all about. That's why we bought this beach house – to turn a dream into a reality. We hope your vacation at our home helps you do the same.

Here are a few suggestions for making the most of your time on Oak Island:

• Take some time to look up at the stars at night. You won't find a more brilliant or numerous display of stars anywhere else. The Milky Way is also a breathtaking sight to behold.
• Go down to the west end of the island and walk around the dunes. You can feel the soul of the island blowing across your skin and whispering in your ears.
• Spend some time on our back deck, watching the pelicans soar silently overhead. These birds have been flying around this stretch of the NC coast for longer than you've been alive.
• Take a moment to listen to the ocean. Don't just hear the waves, but listen to what the sea has to say to you in silence.
